For those of you who love to shop, take the pressure off gift giving and start an in-home “gift shop”. Just by thinking ahead, when you’re out and about and come across unusual or exceptional bargain items, pick them up and keep them for Christmas, birthday, hostess or last-minute gifts. Unless you’re buying for someone extra special, most items are generic, so you can save a lot of time and dollars by thinking ahead and collecting suitable gift items on your routine shopping trips and storing them until needed. I’ve often had my Christmas shopping almost totally completed without ever specifically going Christmas shopping and fighting the crowds, and saved a bundle in money and stress in the process!
